Woo hoo!

Happy day! The conference I have been helping with is over so I'm finally going to be able to have more time to stamp!! We had a great child care conference with wonderful speakers. Our keynote was by Mr. Stinky Feet who is a great performer. If you have young children, go to his site at www.mrstinkyfeet.com and see what he's all about. Fun music!

The card I have today is 100% SU!. The designer paper and stamp set came from the Occasions Mini Collection 2008. I love the sets in this mini-catalog! The stamp set is Tart & Tangy and the paper is Summer Picnic. You can order these through May 31st, and let me tell you - I'm not taking the chance on this paper! I don't know if it will be in the next SU! Idea Book (catalog) so I'm going to buy up a ton of it! I love it that much!!

I'd better log off for now and go get some things done around the home front. I'm pretty sure now that conference is over, my husband is going to expect I get my butt in gear and keep the house a little more picked up. We have two baseball games this afternoon and then a birthday party for our 12 year old to go to - so never a dull or boring moment around here.

Have a great week and see you next weekend! I'm hoping to actually have time to post on SATURDAY, since my mom has reminded me this is "Stampin' on Saturdays."

I have finally forced myself to sit down this weekend and get a blog up and running! I'm so busy working and being a mom that I have made a resolution to make some "me time"!! So I've committed to post on Saturdays - I'm kidding myself if I think I will have time to do it more often. Do I look at everyone else's blogs every day??? You betcha, but I know between baseball games and a two year old keeping us busy...this is as good as it's going to get for the time being. I'm no superstar stamper, but it's definitely a hobby that I LOVE!

This first card I am posting is for a cupcake swap I am participating in at SCS. I don't know about you - but I adore cupcakes. (Did any of you watch Martha Stewart's "cupcake week"? I did, and I can't wait to try out some of the recipes!) This card used SU! cardstock in Cool Carribean, Pretty in Pink, Regal Rose and the DSP Loves Me - which I have been hoarding! I wish I would have bought more of it when it was retiring!!! But oh well... The cupcake stamp is from Michael's dollar bin and the sentiment is from Eclectic Paperie's exclusive Hey There Cupcake set. The cupcake is stamped in Basic Black and colored with SU! markers in Pretty in Pink, Creamy Caramel and So Saffron with just a touch of Diamond Stickles on the candle. Hey cupcake is stamped in Taken With Teal. The ribbon is narrow white organdy, also from SU!

Well, that's all for this weekend! I've got to get our two year old daughter down for a nap since both our boys have baseball games this afternoon.

Have a great week - and come back to see me next weekend!
