Welcome!

I have finally forced myself to sit down this weekend and get a blog up and running! I'm so busy working and being a mom that I have made a resolution to make some "me time"!! So I've committed to post on Saturdays - I'm kidding myself if I think I will have time to do it more often. Do I look at everyone else's blogs every day??? You betcha, but I know between baseball games and a two year old keeping us busy...this is as good as it's going to get for the time being. I'm no superstar stamper, but it's definitely a hobby that I LOVE!

This first card I am posting is for a cupcake swap I am participating in at SCS. I don't know about you - but I adore cupcakes. (Did any of you watch Martha Stewart's "cupcake week"? I did, and I can't wait to try out some of the recipes!) This card used SU! cardstock in Cool Carribean, Pretty in Pink, Regal Rose and the DSP Loves Me - which I have been hoarding! I wish I would have bought more of it when it was retiring!!! But oh well... The cupcake stamp is from Michael's dollar bin and the sentiment is from Eclectic Paperie's exclusive Hey There Cupcake set. The cupcake is stamped in Basic Black and colored with SU! markers in Pretty in Pink, Creamy Caramel and So Saffron with just a touch of Diamond Stickles on the candle. Hey cupcake is stamped in Taken With Teal. The ribbon is narrow white organdy, also from SU!

Well, that's all for this weekend! I've got to get our two year old daughter down for a nap since both our boys have baseball games this afternoon.

Have a great week - and come back to see me next weekend!

Great card. I still think a colored ribbon would be a great touch :)

See you got a counter going. The same process if you want to add a clock.

I like the card, too. You are super talented--I'm lucky just to be able to call you friend. ;>
